The platform is intended exclusively for scientific exchange with other users, taking into account the provisions contained in these Terms of Use on the subject of post-viral syndromes. Use of the platform is expressly and exclusively permitted in compliance with these Terms of Use.

The platform is generally available around the clock. Exceptions are times of necessary maintenance work and restrictions resulting from the utilization or operating status of the national or international telecommunications networks through which access is provided.

User conduct

Users undertake to publish only factual, topic-related, and legally permissible content when using the platform. In particular, it is prohibited to distribute content that:

  • violates applicable law (in particular criminal, data protection, or copyright provisions),
  • is offensive, discriminatory, derogatory, glorifies violence, or is otherwise inappropriate,

The user is responsible for the safe storage and proper use of the password. All actions carried out using the user's password or account are the responsibility of the user, even if they were not carried out by the user themselves. Users are obliged to:

  1. immediately report any unauthorized use of their account or password or other security risks,
  2. properly log out of their account after each use and terminate access.

Users of the platform are obliged to keep all content shared within the platform, including but not limited to texts, summaries, user names (hereinafter “Confidential Information”), confidential and not to distribute it outside the platform, either verbally or through screenshots, audio or video recordings, or transcripts. Confidential Information may only be shared with third parties outside this platform with the prior written consent of the disclosing party.

Users may not share any personal data of patients via the platform. Information about patients must be completely anonymized before it is shared with other users via the platform. This anonymization must consist of a summary of the case without containing any personal information such as name, age, gender, social security number, etc.

Users of the platform are obliged to always ensure the anonymity of patients in the shared patient cases and to only share factual and truthful information. Users may not share or upload original patient documents on the platform (e.g., findings, lab reports, images, etc.), but must summarize the data for others in an explanatory manner. All users are expressly prohibited from combining the disclosed information with other data obtained from other sources in order to enable the re-identification of patients.
